The team at Keiretsu Forum Canada added valuable insight in helping us prepare for the road show and we were impressed by the quality of companies presenting alongside us.We received valuable feedback from both the Keiretsu Forum team and its members, which led to an investment and formed an important piece of our successful financing. We will certainly recommend participation from other companies and potential members!

Thank you for including me in the October road show. It was a fascinating experience and seemed to improve with time and location. You do a wonderful job of organizing the events. I love the quality of questions that you ask and the manner in which you stimulated audience participation. I have presented at various investment events for SciTech and other companies over the years and I have never seen an organization do a better job at encouraging the dialogue.

My experience with the Keiretsu Forum has been great. Out of all the Angel groups they give you what's called a 'Gold Sheet' and it essentially is a list of all investors that were interested, why, any notes as to why they want to speak with you and their contact information. This way you aren't left blind as to who was interested in what you are doing and you can be proactive and reach out to them since they are all wealthy and busy people. We've raised almost $200k with them alone and are set to close more investment as we updated them on progress. Overall incredible experience and I'm happy to chat with any entrepreneurs on this.

Great Experience! Plus it was fun!Knowing that it is not easy to raise capital for a young biotech company, we raised our Series C financing round from ten Keiretsu chapters. All together about $1.8million. Within Keiretsu the Ontario chapter was one of the strongest. They have a very transparent process and out-of-the-box thinking investors. Ozan, Kevin and Mira are great to work with!I will get back to them with any new financing I do in the future!

As an entrepreneur, putting in extra miles and time is the only way that I can propose innovative and disruptive solutions to the market. Keiretsu Forum Central Canada led the way by going deeper in understanding our business potential and by helping in polishing our pitch before presenting ourselves to investors. This made a big difference for BIGLIG. Having gone through multiple VCs and angel networks in the past years, this angel network stood out for its unique appetite to make my funding experience a success story for my business. The 100+ investors I personally met during the last 3 days, plus the ones that were watching remotely from more than 20 countries, are creating real momentum for BIGLIG. We already received interest from 5 investors and expect 15 to 20 more next week. Thanks again for your help in supporting our funding process.

Hi Kevin - we've made out great at your chapter - I think it's about $500k but there's still more coming in from your members. It could go up pretty high.Thank you guys for slotting me in at the last minute! Very well worth the trip. You have a fantastic group.

Keiretsu group were instrumental in our two rounds of financing. Through their network we landed crucial early investors that enabled us to complete our initial product development and distribution. Later in our IPO round, we met a group of investors through Keiretsu who provided a significant amount of funding and, more importantly, much needed momentum to help us complete our $4.8mm IPO. Through the entire process, they were an endless source of optimism and support, and provided great counsel and introductions to help us get our business off the ground.

Keiretsu Forum Central Canada provided an ideal opportunity to connect with Canadian Angels open to exploring our company's cutting edge medical technology. During three presentations in two days to chapters in London, Markham and Toronto, I had the chance to connect with investors and share our concept for a new vital sign monitor I received excellent questions about our exit strategy, go to market plans, and our methods for securing non-dilutive financing. After the presentations, there were ample chances to further answer questions and network with Keiretsu Forum members, who collectively have extensive international connections including, in our case, for medical device marketing and distribution beyond North America. Such events do not occur on their own, and the enthusiasm and dedication of the forum leaders, including Mira, Ozan and Kevin, were apparent at every stage from initial contact all the way through making the presentations. I wholeheartedly recommend fellow entrepreneurs to consider making a visit to the Central Canada Keiretsu Forum, it was well worth it for meeting new investor contacts and making new business friends as well.

As a first time entrepreneur, finding the right early capital partners is difficult.Keiretsu provided me with a wide network of angel investors to pitch. Being a unique company with very few investors who can actually help the brand, being able to pitch to such a wide variety of individuals proved important for our success. We found several investors through the network who truly helped us scale.

Throughout this entire process I have been incredibly impressed with the organization, professionalism, and all-around consideration the Keiretsu Forum Canada team puts into everything they do.By shepherding companies through this process and providing invaluable pitch coaching and strategy, as well as creating a system that works well for angels themselves, I can see why Ozan, Kevin and Mira are so successful in connecting companies to capital. It is clear they’ve mastered the angel investment process and I feel fortunate to be involved with the organization.
